Welcome to Sarahdipity Photos!
Sarahdipity Photos it shall be!
To name a business is a challenge. A challenge of thoughts, words, names, opinions. Name after name was thought of while I tried to "define" my business through a name. Not a single name stuck out to me. After a while I decided I just had to go with something. Winks & Wishes Photography was the name with the most votes by friends and relatives, so I went with it.
This past month, March of 2010, traveled to New York City. With the melody of honking horns, walks through Central Park, photographs of every urban setting, and a load of fun and memories was the result of the trip. Even better yet, the last evening as I sipped a famous "Serendipity frozen hot chocolate" I was inspired to change my photography business name to "Sarahdipity."
Ser-en-dip-i-ty: to art of finding special discoveries, or finding the expectantly pleasant by chance. So there, in the streets of New York City, I pinned the name, Sarah-dip-i-ty: the art of making special discoveries and capturing them forever. May I capture the special discoveries of your life so you may keep them forever.
